Not affected by our ice storm, nor temperatures in the mid-teens LaBuffrosea starts to produce it’s lovely blossoms generally in July in our Zone 8a area continuing into October, weather permitting. It is a “clumper” forming tight tussocks of glossy green foliage crowned by pink or white, goblet to star shaped flowers. Easy to use in perennial beds, mixed borders, along riverbeds, in front of shrubs or in partial shade under the open canopy of trees. It needs a very brief dormancy in June.
