Zephyranthes candida

Seems to be an heirloom lily, found sometimes near old homesteads. It likes moisture, even wet feet  and forms dark green, lush, grassy clumps adorned with many crocus like white flowers from midsummer till sometime in October, depending on the blessing of the weather-gods sending thunderstorms and rain. It grows 6 to 8” high and 12” wide like many of its sisters, the little bulbs bulking up rapidly
