This bamboo has the largest leaves of any bamboo in cultivation in the U.S up to 24 " X 4”. These truly large leaves are used as food wrappers like fig, grape, maize leaves or for decorative purposes. It makes a great container plant adapting well to low lighting. Ideal for erosion control on heavy soils and along flood plains. Once well established it may reach a height of twelve feet. A very attractive bamboo for live fencing, containers and specimen plants.
